Free Tools for Every PPC Internet Marketer

ppc-tools After getting a lot of emails which tools do I use, I have decided to write a complete post on what tools does a good Internet marketer need.

You will be surprised to see that most of them free, yes I know most blogs tries to promote one tool or or the other, but you can find a lot of free tools the do the job.

Without further introduction lets start reviews the tools that every Internet marketer need to have:

Keyword Research

Google External Keyword suggestion tool – This tool is free from the home of big G and can be give you a lot of information including number of search, keyword idea, AdWords competition and lots more. It’s very simply to use it and in the same time it’s very powerful.
Wordtracker – Yes I know, I promised that most of the tool will be but, you should know that although Wordtracker have a paid version, it also have a free version, that gives up to 100 words for each search. You can find the free tool at or buy the full version of Wordtracker.
Keyword Discovery – Free tool that help come with new keyword ideas.

Campaign Building

After you have finished finding your keywords you will need to start building your campaign, here are two free tools that can help with this task:

Google AdWords Editor – In order to build you AdWords campaign you can go to the control that can be found on the AdWords website, or use the great tool from Google house called AdWords Editor. Without even thinking I can say that tool have saved me a lot of hours building and uploading my Google AdWords Campaigns.
Keyword List Generator – Another free tool from the SEOBook website will build long tail keyword for you. This tool is similar to SpeedPPC and can even build long tail keyword from more than two columns of words, it’s does not generate a complete files to upload but it’s build you a good long tail keyword list to put in your AdWords campaigns

All of the above tools are free to use, in most cases you don’t need to spend money on expensive tools, when you can find free ones that do the same job.
