That’s mean if you promote a Clickbank product through a direct linking AdWords campaign and you visitor didn’t but on the same spot the chances you just lost one the click price.

Does it mean the you shouldn’t promote Clickbank product with direct linking ?

No!  Direct Linking is working well even with Clickbank products, but you have to take a higher margin on your PPC bid, because you conversion rate will be lower.

How much to bid on ?

That’s is the golden question, and I’m afraid I can’t give you answer you should try for yourself.

1. Build a good campaign with good quality score that direct straight to your merchant page.
2. Don’t promote a product that pays you less than 5$ because it will be very hard to make good tests with this low payout.
3. Choose broad keywords in order to test what keywords coverts and what keywords not.
4. The first place on AdWords is not always the best one especially it’s displayed on top of the organic results.
5. Don’t get to attached to your campaigns if they are not converting after 100 clicks, shut them down.

If you are newbie or just struggling to build your online business you should pay attention to one very important thing and that is affiliate cookies types.

As an affiliate you promote a merchant product by a special link. This link is given to you by then affiliate network or by the merchant himself.

When a potential customer click this link, a cookie with your affiliate details is stored on the his  computer.

Now if that visitor will buy the product form the merchant website you will get your commission for that purchase.

But, what will happen if that visitor want to dig and find more opinions or special  deals on the same product.

He surf from one website to another and clicked another affiliate link (one that is not your) and buy the product .

If the cookie in of the product above is the first type then the other affiliate will earn the commission, but if we are dealing with the second type of cookie then your cookie will not get deleted and you will get the commission although another affiliate link was clicked after yours.

The oblivious difference between the two cookies types is well explained but you should pay attention to one more thing.

As a newbie you life will get harder when you dealing with the second type of cookies (unless you are the first one the caught the visitor).

Start promotion only the first type of cookies until you build your confidence and only than jump to the deep waters.

The middle man companies are companies that buy a reseller package from a big company and sell it to you.

The middle man companies price is higher and their service in most case does not even exist.

When it come to choosing your hosting company, the service is a main factor.

You want to give the customer the best deal and convince him to buy from your affiliate link and to make him do it, you add some free bonuses to main product offer.

Most of those products are MRR or Private Label products that you have purchased in the past, you paid for them in the past but now the online they have is a give away products.

The problem begin when more then Internet marketer build a bonuses package for the same product. At this this the bonuses war begins.

Every new marketer or even some old ones tries to beast the other offer and increase their bonuses package. They want to give the best deal and earn the client and the commission.  if you are getting yourself into this bonuses battle you will never be on the winning side.

No matter how much you give the other side give more and this will never end. You need to avoid getting into battle about bonuses.

You should remember that even if you are thinking that the customer is stupid, giving him a 400$ bonuses package on a 20$ product will raise a red flag.

So what you do in order to avoid getting your self into this battle?

Here are few suggestions that I’m using in my campaigns:

1. Be smart, never give a huge bonus package that make the product look cheap.
   My thumb rule is that 4 times the price of the product is the upper limit, above it you are selling the bonuses and not the product. Also huge bonuses package make the product cheap and worth to buy in the eye of the customer.
2. If they can’t find you competitors they will never buy from them. Promote your offer the best you can and always be one step before your competitors. If they don’t find you customers deal they can’t  buy from it.
3. Don’t throw unrelated bonuses, build a bonus package the complete the product features.
4. If you can give a discount on a related service instead of a huge bonus package, do it!
   if you giving this discount through an affiliate link then you are earning even more commissions.

The main concept behind it all is be smart the related to the product topic.

Because of this many of so called "Gurus" will try to sell this dream warped up in many different shapes.

It could be an e-book or or a software or even a 1000$ Internet marketing course, but the fact is the most of these product just don’t work.

The more funny thing about it that many of so called gurus never made a single dime using this products.

Did you ever ask yourself what came first ?

Did those gurus earn their money before they sold those miracle solutions or they made their money by selling these miracle solution.

Now I have to be honest there many programs or e-books that can teach you some good tricks or  save you lots of working hours, some of them are even free, but none of these solutions will make you rich over night.

In most cases you just need to use your brain !

So don’t buy products which promise you instant solutions or miracles the only miracle that will happen is the merchant’s bank account.
