The quality score will determines how much will we will pay for every keyword and on what position our AdWords ad will appear.

You can find a lot of theories discussing how to improve your keyword quality score but at the end it’s about one simple thing: Relevance.

In order to get a great quality you need to make your ad relevant to the search term and your landing page relevancy to your ads.

This is the magic triangle:

Ad Creative —> Search Terms —-> Landing page.

A new video produced by Google has been released few days ago discussing the magic behind the well known QS factor, here it is:

Contrary to what what internet marketers think, the way to find this secret is not through a bunch of expensive ebooks or membership sites or reading and learning a lot of theories.

Instead, to find out the secret we must test for our self and determine what work and what doesn’t.

Talking about theories and concepts will not give the results that you want. you need to test different campaign elements.

This post is all about what you really need to do to ensure your success in a new market.

If you want to lazy then stop reading now, testing a market requires a lot of additional effort, and there is no way to guarantee that it will make a profit.

Here are the main topics we are going to go over in this series each topic will his own post:

Part I – Build Multiple Landing Pages

Part II- Swap Landing Page Copy

Part III - Track Keywords By Group Or Individually

Part IV – Know When Visitors Came To The Page

Part V - Write Multiple Text Ads

Part VI – Putting It All Together

Lets begin….

Build Multiple Landing Pages

Before even creating a PPC campaign, you need to build multiple landing pages.

If you’ve never build multiple landing and seen the test results, you would be surprised at what a difference design, color, and layout can make.

In some markets professional-looking landing pages will not work and amateur designs will do the job.

Start with two or three designs with the exact same content. Design one amateur design and one professional design, change the color and content layout.

Because any little change can make the difference be creative in your combinations.

You Should be careful in creating too many landing pages because it would be an incredible amount of work and would be difficult to test and almost impossible.

Once you spit test your initial designs, you can introduce more completely new designs, or you can simply start changing things around on your winning design.

That’s mean if you promote a Clickbank product through a direct linking AdWords campaign and you visitor didn’t but on the same spot the chances you just lost one the click price.

Does it mean the you shouldn’t promote Clickbank product with direct linking ?

No! Direct Linking is working well even with Clickbank products, but you have to take a higher margin on your PPC bid, because you conversion rate will be lower.

How much to bid on ?

That’s is the golden question, and I’m afraid I can’t give you answer you should try for yourself.

5 Tips To Build A Good Direct Linking Campaigns

Here are some tips to build a good direct linking campaigns:

Build a good campaign with good quality score that direct straight to your merchant page.

Don’t promote a product that pays you less than 5$ because it will be very hard to make good tests with this low payout.

Choose broad keywords in order to test what keywords coverts and what keywords not.

The first place on AdWords is not always the best one especially it’s displayed on top of the organic results.

Don’t get to attached to your campaigns if they are not converting after 100 clicks, shut them down.

Keep following the above 5 tips and build and more campaigns don’t discourage if the first one is converting try at least 30 and learn from you mistakes.

The affiliate market can be very confusing for new internet marketers, because of that many new affiliate don’t pay attention to the small details and tend to ignore things that can change their internet marketing strategy.

If you are newbie or just struggling to build your online business you should pay attention to one very important thing and that is affiliate cookies types.

As an affiliate you promote a merchant product by a special link. This link is given to you by then affiliate network or by the merchant himself.

When a potential customer click this link, a cookie with your affiliate details is stored on the his computer.

Now if that visitor will buy the product form the merchant website you will get your commission for that purchase.

But, what will happen if that visitor want to dig and find more opinions or special deals on the same product.

He surf from one website to another and clicked another affiliate link (one that is not your) and buy the product .

Who will get the commission ? You or the other affiliate.

Type of Cookies

That’s where the affiliate cookies type will make the difference, basically there are two type of cookies.

The first type of cookies is a cookie that replaced when another affiliate link is clicked (clickbank use that cookie).

The other type of cookie is one that is not deleted when another affiliate is clicked and stayed on the visitor computer until it expires or deleted by the visitor himself.

Let’s go back to our example who will get the commission ?

If the cookie in of the product above is the first type then the other affiliate will earn the commission, but if we are dealing with the second type of cookie then your cookie will not get deleted and you will get the commission although another affiliate link was clicked after yours.

The oblivious difference between the two cookies types is well explained but you should pay attention to one more thing.

As a newbie you life will get harder when you dealing with the second type of cookies (unless you are the first one the caught the visitor).

Start promotion only the first type of cookies until you build your confidence and only than jump to the deep waters.

You to look as professional as can be you don’t your links to use many different and strange characters.

If you don’t know what link cloaking is, then here is a short explanation.

Most affiliates networks give a very ugly link that include many letter and characters that make the link un-professional to you website visitors.

For example a link for a Clickbank product will probably look like this:

http://myaffiliateid.merchantid.hop.clickbank.com , others affiliates networks will you an even hard to watch affiliate links for example:

http://www.ecovergenerator.com/x.cgi?adminid=814&id=36353&pid=20648

What if you could change this link to something more professional, something that will use your own domain and still save all the data of the affiliate link.

That is where affiliate cloaking tools can help you.

There are many ways to cloak you link manually but in most case is a lot of time and more important you don’t any tracking on what link did you use and how many times it was clicked.

While I have used many tools that can help me cloak my affiliate link I have found that only two of them deliver almost every aspect then I need in an link cloaking software.

Covert Affiliates Links VS Power Link Generator

Both are PHP script that need to installed on your own server, you can one installation and manage unlimited amount of affiliates links.

Both script will almost perform identical jobs and includes very similar features.

You can add many details for every affiliate link including: affiliate network, username and password, payment method and much more.

Both script track the number of time each link was clicked while Power Link Generator give break it into groups like day, month and so on Vs. Covert Affiliate Links that give you only the total number.

The Price

Although both software deliver the same features the is a huge price different between them Power link Generator price is 97$ while the price of Covert Affiliate Links price is almost half of it and stand on 47$ ( only for a limited a mount of time).

From my point of view there is no need to to pay twice for almost the same product and Covert Affiliate Links will do the same job while paying only half of the price.

PPC marketing can very difficult if you don’t know what you doing. You can loose a lot of money playing with AdWords or any other pay per click network.

Although you are trying not to pay a lot for every keyword, the bottom line that if you are doing it right you are loosing money!

Before you are jumping into pay per click marketing you need to learn how do to it right.

You need to learn how to explore your niche, how to find the right keywords to bid on, how to analyze your results and how to build your own strategy in order to succeed in PPC marketing.

There are many books written on that subject one of them is Beating AdWords written by the same guy of invented the Wealthy Affiliate.

Reading a book can take a lot of time, time you may not have right now. The solution for that is a quick video course.

I have watched many videos that tries to teach about Google AdWords, many of them didn’t worth the time you spend watching them. One of the best course I watched on AdWords is Double Digits CTR.

This videos series published is very unique from other, there is not un-needed learning material that will waste your time, you will learn exactly what you need in order to succeed in AdWords.

Double Digits CTR in divided into 5 videos as follows:

Video 1 – Introduction

Video 2 – Keyword Research

Video 3 – Strategy

Video 4 – Landing Pages

Video 5 – Writing Ads

Watch this great video from James talking about what you can learn in course:

Although this video course is not free and cost about 39%, it’s well worth it.

The expenses that you will save applying the methods that described in Double Digits CTR will be a great return on investment.

You can out find more about on Double Digits CTR on their website homepage.
